As the Director of Marketing at MES, I supported our ongoing sponsorship of a cornerstone firefighter event with more than 100 years of cultural significance. To extend the reach beyond the live audience, I requested raw video clips from the event organizer and edited them into a high-impact social media post.

Results: 3.9M views, 356.3K likes, 2,641 comments, 57.2K shares, and 9,000+ new followers. The content also generated repost requests from Barstool Sports and LADbible.

“Submit Your Scene” Contest

I conceptualized and executed the “Submit Your Scene” campaign across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok (7 total posts) to identify and activate real customers as ongoing content contributors. The campaign encouraged firefighters wearing the primary gear brands represented by MES to submit photos and videos, creating an authentic pipeline of user-generated content.

Results: 7 posts generated 2.6K+ likes, 18 comments, and 27 shares, resulting in 22 qualified content candidates and establishing a repeatable, cost-effective source of brand-aligned creators drawn directly from the customer base.

Geo-Targeted Product Delivery

I executed geo-targeted, congratulatory product delivery posts to drive localized demand and strengthen customer relationships. When a product was delivered, I highlighted and congratulated the receiving fire department, then geo-targeted surrounding departments within a 50-mile radius. Departments valued the public recognition and engagement, often resharing the posts within their own networks.

Leveraging the fire service’s strong reliance on peer recommendations and word-of-mouth, this approach consistently generated inbound interest, prompting nearby departments to contact local MES sales representatives for product demonstrations and additional information—turning customer recognition into a repeatable, community-driven demand channel.
